A little about me
I grew up in a small, farm town in the Midwest. There was never much to do in the area, unless it was harvest season and time for the county fair, so I always dreamed of leaving. Ever since I was little, France was chosen destination. So when I had the chance to study abroad during my sophomore year at Miami University, I high-tailed it to Rennes, France. I lived with a wonderful family and fell in love. I fell in love with a language, with a culture, with a city, and with a Frenchman.
The other loves of my life include my family, my friends, baking pies and other goodies, cleaning, reading (French and English, especially the works of Austen, Sparks, Rowling, and Hemingway), target shooting, going for walks, playing piano (my favorite song is Bach’s Prelude in C), and most of all swing dancing!
